Lyra Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Lyra is a private productivity assistant used by its authorized account holder.
Data accessed
With authorization, Lyra accesses Google Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Contacts data to carry out requested tasks, including reading, organizing, creating, modifying, and sending information as permitted by the account holder.
Use and sharing
Lyra uses Google user data to provide requested productivity features. Relevant retrieved content may be transmitted to an AI processing provider, including OpenAI, as part of performing a task. Content may be sent to other connected services when the account holder explicitly invokes those services. Lyra does not sell user data or use it for advertising.
Lyra's use of information received from Google APIs is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data must not be used to train or improve generalized AI models.
Storage and retention
OAuth credentials and task conversations are stored in the assistant's private operating environment. Retrieved content may remain in conversation history, and information explicitly saved to connected services may be retained there until deleted. External processors may retain data according to their applicable policies.
Security and control
Access is limited to the authorized account holder and services used for requested tasks. Google access can be revoked in Google Account permissions. Stored conversation and saved records can be removed through the assistant's administration procedures.
